Catastrophic Assessments are used to determine if claimants meet the Statutory Accident Benefit Schedule (SABS) criteria for a catastrophic impairment. The assessment covers a claimant’s entire physical, mental and behavioral state to determine their overall condition and suspected level of impairment.
K.C. McKee Medical Evaluation Centre’s catastrophic case managers have the expertise needed to successfully manage these types of case files. They are well versed with the AMA guidelines specified in SABS, which pertain to the 4th & 6th AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment and closely work with our carefully selected experts who are CAT certified and have the necessary training and experience with SABS legislation and legalities of the CAT impairment process.
